For the right candidate — enough donor hair, stabilized loss, realistic expectations — transplantation can be genuinely transformative. For the wrong candidate or the wrong timing, it can disappoint expensively. 'Worth it' is a candidacy question only a qualified surgeon can answer after examining you.
